"I'm dying to know! I don't know how people wait," she told Us Weekly at the Glamhouse.com Launch party (hosted by Perez Hilton) in L.A. Thursday. "I'm really excited!"

This will be the first child for Cavallari, 25, and her Chicago Bears quarterback fiance Jay Cutler, 28. "He's gonna be a great dad! He's so cute with kids," the Laguna Beach alum gushed. "He's good with my little dog, so he's gonna be really, really cute with kids!"
Before they begin building a nursery, Cavallari said they're "waiting to find out for sure if it's a boy or a girl." One thing is for certain, however: they won't be raising their child in the spotlight.

4I'm glad I found out and if I had to do it over again I would find out again! It takes absolutely nothing away and you still look forward to your baby REGARDLESS...you have no idea what they will look like, so, boy or girl, they are still a surprise until u lay eyes on them.
Hi Not to be mean or anything but I don't think your reading the article correctly. She wants to know. It's just to early to find out. Also, I have to disagree you do have something to look forward to. I'm starting my six month and I know it's a girl and I can't wait to see what she LOOKS like.
@Amy Hale---I am only 23 and am not married and have no children but I 100% agree with. One day when I do have kids and I will not want to know. 2 of my cousins, when the had their children they told everyone the gender and the name (first and middle!) so it was like so surprise when the baby was born for anyone! Another of my cousins when she had her baby, it was secret to everyone but them. But I like the old school way...2 names. 1 boy 1 girl and it isn't revealed until that wonderful moment u see your child for the very first time.
I elected not to know my children's gender either. Women today have nothing to look forward to when they have their babies. They know the gender, the babies name, have the sonogram pictures. Once the "big day" arrives - big deal, you already know everything. There is NO way the big day is as special as when you are surprises. I have new-found respect for Miss Cavallari for her choice of a traditional birth of her baby. Her patience will pay off.
