Baby on board! Pregnant Megan Fox was captured, in a rare moment, affectionately cradling her tiny baby bump as she helped launch the Avon Foundation #SeeTheSigns of Domestic Violence Campaign on Friday, Nov. 22 in NYC. Earlier that day at Avon's headquarters, Fox — who has been noticeably scarce during pregnancy number two — shared exclusively with Us Weekly that she was feeling "better now," after revealing that her pregnancy was "rough in the beginning!"

The This Is 40 actress, 27, is currently expecting her second child with husband Brian Austin Green. "I've had rough first trimesters," she told Us. "But once you get into the second, it's fine after that." At Friday's event, Fox glowed in a slimming, all-black ensemble which was comprised of a body-hugging, sleeved black dress with sheer black tights and open-toed stilettos. She left her long brunette and honey-colored ombre locks in loose waves as she posed like a pro with her right hand on her hip, her left hand casually draped against the bottom half of her stomach.

Fox and Green welcomed their first child, son Noah Shannon, now 14 months, on Sept. 27, 2012. On the differences between her first and second pregnancies, the busy star told Us on Friday, "I don’t have time to think about it. I have a 1-year-old running around. And then when you're working like 16 hours a day, there's no time for you at all." She continued, "When I was home, I wasn't sleeping — I was trying to make out time for the baby and spend time with him. So it was rough."

Despite the difficulties that accompany motherhood, Fox seems to be gracefully accepting and embracing her role as a mom: "Until you have kids, you can't imagine how much you could possibly love a human being," she told Access Hollywood in December 2012. "It's really intense and really overwhelming and amazing." The couple confirmed their second pregnancy in August, just 11 months after Fox welcomed Noah.

The actress recently wrapped up filming 2014's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, in which she will play April O'Neil — a close friend of the Turtles. She is currently busy promoting the #SeeTheSigns global social media campaign, which seeks to educate the public on recognizing signs of domestic violence. Both she and husband Green were snapped at Friday night's event at the Morgan Library & Museum, holding signs that read, "Love should not hurt" and "Domestic violence is more than just a black eye." The point of the photos were to bring awareness to the human rights movement against gender violence.

"The lack of conversation about domestic violence keeps the epidemic hidden," Fox, who is also the face of Avon Instinct fragrances, said in the press release. "With #SeetheSigns, the Avon Foundation hopes to create a global movement to encourage and motivate people to share and educate others about the signs of abuse so we can break this epidemic of violence.”
