She’s seeing blue! Pregnant supermodel Candice Swanepoel revealed on Tuesday, May 17, that she’s having a baby boy.
The Victoria’s Secret Angel, 27, made the cute announcement by posting a half-naked photo of herself in which she’s showing off her bare baby bump. Her jeans are unzipped to make room for her growing belly, and she covers her breast with her hand in the snap.
“My Not so little boy,” she captioned the Instagram pic. She also included a baby boy and blue heart emoji.
Us Weekly confirmed in March that Swanepoel and her fiancé, Hermann Nicoli, are expecting their first child together. The couple got engaged in August 2015 after nearly 10 years of dating.
Swanepoel is particularly elated for her little one’s future playmate. Fellow model and pal Behati Prinsloo and Maroon 5 rocker Adam Levine are also preparing to be first-time parents.
A source told Us: “She’s so excited to be expecting at the same time as Behati.”
Swanepoel previously gave a shout-out to Prinsloo on Mother’s Day. She posted an Instagram photo of herself in a blue dress, possibly hinting at her baby’s gender even then.
“Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mothers in my life and happy almost mama’s day to us @behatiprinsloo,” she wrote on May 8. “so much love already.”
