Suri Cruise is back in heels.
Sporting pigtails, the 3-year old daughter clutched an Elmo doll as she went on a shopping trip with mom Katie Holmes Saturday in Boston, where Tom Cruise has been filming the action-comedy Knight & Day with Cameron Diaz.

It isn't the first the time celeb tot has sported fancy footwear. She wore high heels in September. Cruise, 47, said his daughter loves to dress up.

Suri Cruise is 3 years old! Why do her parents feel the need to dress her up like an adult long before she becomes one? If this little girl develops a complex later on in life, Tom and Katie will have no one else to blame but themselves. She is a child and should be treated, as well as dressed like one.

As active as children are, Suri is easily headed for a sprained ankle. She is not going to be as cautious or coordinated as an adult while wearing high heels. And a sprain would hurt worse than any well-intended restriction of high heels to dress-up games at home.
Those are the cutest little shoes! but I could never let my kids wear them..If I complain about my feet when wearing heels imagine what a 3 year old would do..I say if your going to buy kids "adult shoes" stick to flats.
well all of that is ok and so much for excuses. so when is she gonna wanna drink liquor from a pedastal glass.? wear padded bras? false eyelashes. ya'll it's tha same logic. same approval. when and where are the lines defined? being rich so makes it ok. they need some serious counseling.

Some of you people have some anger and jealous issues on here. Why are folks going to get upset and call a 3 year names. Real smart and i hope and pray you don't have any children yourself or better yet make any! I'm sure she don't wear them 24/7 and what are these shoes any different than shoes that are out there, my daughter has a pair of heeled shoes and if she wanted to wear hers, yes i would get them because i like them.....they aren't any different than easter shoes or tap shoes or even flip flops which are really bad....get a grip you dumb folks

To me, Suri wearing high heels is not an issue. But for heaven's sake, no socks in Boston? I live in New England, what kind of crazy parents let kids go out with no socks? We are talking about cold here. Seriously, that disturbs me more than shoes.

Why is it anybody's business if a little girl wants to wear pretty shoes? You do realize that they sell plastic, furry, hot pink Barbie heels at Wal-Mart, right? It's the same thing. It's not going to hurt her. If anything, it will improve her posture. Let them be.

Why can't Katie and Tom tell their three year old--no heels. They will cause foot and back problems as you get older. Also time to quit the b ottle--it will cause teeth problems. I guess we will hear Suri screaming all over America, but this is why parents make the decisions about what it best for their chidlren. Need to use some common sense rather than thinking that it can't hurt her because she is being raised with Scientology.
sure parents can let kids do/wear what they want. Too bad it might hurt her still developing feet. She doesn't want to wear something else? Tough luck! she's 3,she's not the boss! sigh. Btw i don't dislike Suri (don't know her personally anyway) and i do think she looks very cute in many pics, but the ones with her holding Elmo are just scary. By accident i saw the bottom part first, before knowing it was her. I thought it was one of the Olsen twins.
FYI: All 3 year olds throw tantrums-Emjay. Sorry...just had to say it. I felt the same way before I had children. I now have a four year old who has thrown more tantrums in the past 2 weeks, I bet the lady at the block bluster video store thinks she is insane. 90% of the time she is a sweet angel, but kids will have their moments until they are little older and realize it isn't cool to make your mom drag you out the door. LOL!
So Suri's wearing heels. What's the big deal? She looks adorable (although a dress would go better with her heels) A 3-year-old girl wearing heels is not going to kill anyone. She is Tom and Katie's child. If they want to let her choose what to wear, fine. Last time I checked, parents were free to raise their kids in whatever way they pleased as long as it isn't abusive. Letting a 3-year-old wear heels and pick out what footwear she wants isn't abusive. I have a 5-year-old daughter and I let her wear heels. Call CPS on me!
Hey emjay...whoever thinks that this thing with this Suri Cruise is "adorable" --- has some serious issues. Suri defines BRAT. Have you seen her pics when she throws a tantrum??? Parents that "discipline" their child, does not let their child act wild like that in public. I can't imagine how this thing acts when they're inside their house.
get real lives and worry about real problems and real issues Suri has a wonderful family and amazing parents.
