He’s trading in motorcycles for a baby stroller! Sons of Anarchy star Theo Rossi and his wife, Meghan McDermott, welcomed their first child, a son, on Monday, June 8, the actor's rep confirms exclusively to Us Weekly.
The baby boy, who Rossi told Us in April was due on his June 4 birthday, weighed in at 7 lbs, 12 ounces. As for a name? The new parents are calling their little one Kane Alexander Rossi.
"My son Kane is healthy and my wife is a trooper and doing great," the proud dad tells Us. "No one could have prepared us for the overwhelming joy we would feel when meeting our son. What a beautiful day to welcome our little king into the world."
Rossi, 40, also told Us before his baby was born that he wasn't a bit nervous about becoming a parent. "I love it. I don't like to sleep [anyways] so it's perfect," he said. "We're just really excited."
The actor, who is known for his portrayal of biker Juice on Sons of Anarchy, has two upcoming projects in the works: Low Riders and When the Bough Breaks.
