Before hooking up with Pitt, Jolie had adopted two children of her own, Maddox and Zahara. After Pitt and Jennifer Aniston had divorced, Jolie and her new beau had their first biological daughter, Shiloh. In 2007, the couple adopted son Pax, and in 2008 she gave birth to twins Knox and Vivienne.

I think as far as the adoption process goes, its alot harder to adopt children in the United States and the waiting time is alot longer plus you are under much more scrutiny and being watched closer, there are more interviews from social workers etc. To go to a foreign Country and adopt, you have to basically pay a fee and the waiting time is shorter.orphanages are overloaded with children without parents or family..I heard that in China they bring kids to the airport and you pick the one you want(girls) because the law in China is one girl to a family they keep the boys so they can work- such a sad thing :(

This is to Kim. U.S. kids are no different than kids from other countries so why should she adopt u.s. kids instead of kids from around the world? It makes no difference kids are kids. They aren't patriots. To let you know kids are losing their limbs everyday in Cambodia and thank god Maddox was adopted by Angie because she can give him the love that he needs. She is doing an amazing thing even helping one kid so what difference does it make that they aren't from the u.s.?

pamyati,you should be ashamed of yourself.ALL the children are adorable,each in their own way. and joanie, that was a mean thing to say. just because shiloh likes to dress like her brothers does not mean she is going to be a lebian.she just adores her brothers and wants to dress like them. who knows what will inspire her when she is a little older.they are all a happy bunch of kids and that is all that matters.angie and brad love and take very good care of them, so give them some credit. it is not easy to raise kids when your job takes you all over the world.they are doing the best they can and doing a great job of it too.

What an adorable picture! Each one of the children has their own personality and really shows! Also they seem so happy!
People obviously keep forgetting that they know absolutely NOTHING about this family, except for what they've read in magazines. No one has any idea of what's going on behind their closed doors but them.
I think it's great that each kid is unique and I can't figure out why people can be so critical and mean to them - they're kids! As for Angie and Brad - well cudos to them for taking on such a responsibility.
I have something in common with Shiloh, When I was a little girl up the age of 10 years old, I used to wear boys clothings, that's because I liked my brother's wear. Also I have something in common with Ms Angelina: COMPASSIONATE, PASSIONATE, ALTRUIST and Love for the countries of the 3rd world. Always I wanted to do CHARITY WORK.
