Special night out! Amanda Bynes looked nothing but happy and healthy as she attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise Debut Runway Show with her parents in L.A. on Friday, March 21.

"#FIDMDEBUT," she wrote simply via Twitter. Alongside the caption, the 27-year-old actress shared a sweet snapshot of herself with her parents, Lynn and Rick Bynes. She wore chic beige pants, a black top, and kept her blonde locks down in waves for the night out. "Xoxo," she later added, with an adorable selfie with her mother.

"Amanda got there about 20 minutes before the fashion show started," eyewitness, Janessa Chase, told Us. "She looked really good!"

"She was sitting front row at the end of the runway," Chase added. "She was laughing and smiling when she was talking with the people in her group."

The She's the Man star has been making progress since undergoing several months of treatment last year for mental illness. Since returning home back in December 2013, she's slowly returned to Twitter, and has deleted her previous bizarre tweets. Her attorney, Tamar Arminak, explained to Us in a statement back in September 2013 that Bynes would be attending college and majoring in fashion design.

As previously reported, her mom Lynn had a lot to do with her daughter's recovery. On Feb. 11, a judge praised Lynn for fulfilling her responsibilities as conservator for the Nickelodeon alum. "Good job, Mrs. Bynes," the judge said at the time. "Well done."
