Here's to a less hairy 2012 for Ashton Kutcher.
At the TCA panel for Two and a Half Men in Pasadena, Calif., the newly single star, 33, revealed that he finally cut his shaggy locks and shaved off his facial hair. One remnant from last year: His wedding band, which remained on his finger despite the infamous end of his marriage to Demi Moore late last year.
Kutcher's clean-shaven new look is "related to the show, completely," he said at the panel. "Tune in Monday." See more photos of Ashton's new look.
"I'm sure there will be people now that I've cut my hair and shaved my beard that want me to have long hair and a beard," added the star, who was married to Moore, 49, for six years before they confirmed their split in late November following his affair with Sara Leal.

"And there were people that when I had a beard and long hair they wanted me to be shaved and have a haircut," the former model (who fidgeted with his wedding band throughout the talk) continued of his evolving look. "How it evolved is that these guys wrote a screenplay that dictated that I cut my hair and shave my beard at some point."
Despite his personal turmoil, Kutcher added that he's "had a blast" replacing Charlie Sheen on the CBS hit. "Since I stopped doing That 70s Show, I always wanted to go back and do television."
