Exclusive: Bret Michaels on Co-Hosting Miss Universe: "What Could Go Wrong?"

Bret Michaels tells UsMagazine.com exclusively that he couldn't be more thrilled to be co-hosting Miss Universe 2010.
"I am honored Donald Trump has asked me to co-host the 2010 Miss Universe pageant in Las Vegas alongside my friend and ever so hot Natalie Morales," he tells Us.

In April, the rocker, 47, suffered a brain hemorrhage and stroke.
"I realize it is a controversial decision for Mr. Trump to have a rocker like myself with little filter to host such a prestigious event," Michaels tells Us. "However, Donald Trump knows that I will bring 150 percent and make the evening a rocking good time."

The real stars of the night?
"The more than 80 of the world's most beautiful, glamorous and talented women," Michaels tells Us. "I know the competitive level for these women is going to be extremely high knowing that one of them is going to be crowned Miss Universe. It will be awesome to be a part of it. Besides, what could possibly go wrong? A rock star in a room full of beautiful women is bound to be entertaining."

27I'll be watching just to see Bret. I hate those competitions. Mostly based on looks and nothing else. I think Bret in a Tuxedo would be a very nice touch. At least for the ending...and a black bandana!

Bret won Celebrity Apprentice fair and square! Holly LOST 2 out of 3 contests - so she raised more $$ in one event - big deal. She lost more competitions than she won. As for the dorky STD comments - I shouldn't even acknowledge them. People who make comments like that are absolutely pathetic - too bad that your life is so bad that you must bash other people to enjoy yourself. This will be the ONLY Miss University pageant that I will watch. Go BRETT - can't wait.

Normally I'd rather chew my own foot off than watch a ridiculous "beauty" pageant, but since I absolutely adore Bret Michaels I will watch it just for him.
HEY DARLENE: Bret won Celebrity Apprentice fair and square. He was there all the time, he worked hard and was very creative. He also has a personality - more than I can say for Holly, who was a "beeeotch" most of the time.
LOVE YOU, Bret, but PLEASE - dress up for this occassion. Enough of the tattered jeans and the "babushka" around your head. Time to look a bit more classy for an event like this! (Okay - leave the scarf around the head, but PLEASE wear an "in" suit of some sort. You clean up real nice!!

i don't usually watch the miss universe pageant, but i'll tune in to see him. he is always entertaining.
I might be going to hell for this, but I think he's a major toolbag! I'm glad he's alive and all that, but that doesn't change the fact that he's a Summer's Eve d*uchetastic too much eyeliner wearing fame wh*re. I suspect the tight bandanas may not have helped his cause when he was dealing with the hemmorhage... (omg I'm going straight to hell for this!) Natalie Morales, be sure to take ur valtrex. He's a walking STD cesspool.
