Brooks Ayers spent Saturday, Sept. 26, whooping it up — just without his ex-girlfriend Vicki Gunvalson, who introduced the Real Housewives of Orange County phrase. Multiple sources tell Us Weekly exclusively that the controversial reality personality was spotted partying into the early hours in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
"He was drinking,” an eyewitness at Cyn Nightclub tells Us of Gunvalson’s ex, who has been accused of faking his cancer diagnosis on the current season of RHOC. “He honestly looked great and in great shape,” the partygoer adds.
“It looked like some sort of guys-night-out situation,” the source says of Ayers, who was "living it up" at the club with five other pals.
RHOC newcomer Meghan King Edmonds has spent a majority of the Bravo show’s current season attempting to disprove Ayer’s diagnosis of stage 3 non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. On Monday night’s episode, the businessman visited a doctor to prove the women wrong, the doctor doesn’t confirm he has cancer and simply discusses a large mass in his abdomen.
“The fact that these women are doubting my illness absolutely pisses me off," Ayers told the camera. He also presented Tamra Judge with a PET scan to prove he’s sick. However, Edmonds called the doctor’s office that perfumed the imaging test and learned that it does not offer the scan for patients with Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
Gunvalson has since split with Ayers. In August, Us Weekly exclusively revealed the longtime couple had called it quits for the second time.
"After much prayer, thought, counseling, and consideration, we have decided to end our four year relationship," the couple told Us in a statement. "We both wish nothing but a great future for each other. We have come to realize that one can indeed love someone in their heart, but that the time may come for their lives to take separate paths. Though the remaining episodes of Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Orange County will show us as a couple, the filming took place in January 2015 through May 2015. There will be no further statements or interviews regarding our relationship as we choose to move on with our lives. Though we choose to live our lives in the public eye, we thank you for your understanding and ask privacy during this difficult time."
