He’s here! Candice Swanepoel has welcomed her first child.
The Victoria’s Secret model, 27, welcomed a baby boy with her fiancé, Hermann Nicoli, on Friday, October 7.
According to E! News, who was first to report the happy news, the supermodel named her newborn son Anaca, which is a Portuguese word for a specific type of bird, E! reports.
Swanepoel’s friend and photographer Jerome Duran also confirmed the news on Instagram on Friday. The photog posted a stunning nude shot of the South African beauty cradling her belly with the caption: "THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MAMA Congratulations!! @angelcandices @hermannicoli Welcome Anacã!!! Already sooo much LOVE for you and the new family!"
The couple got engaged in August 2015 after nearly 10 years of dating.
In May, the model revealed via Instagram that she was expecting a baby boy.
"My Not so little boy," she captioned an Instagram pic of herself cradling her bump in a blue dress. She also included a baby boy and blue heart emoji.
The arrival of her son comes just two days after her BFF and fellow model Behati Prinsloo gave birth to her daughter with husband Adam Levine.
