Ciara has officially moved on from her ex Future and onto Seattle Seawhawks quarterback Russell Wilson! The “Like a Boy” singer couldn’t keep the smile off her face while being questioned about the NFL pro during an interview with Hot 97 on Tuesday, May 5.
"Men take breakups a little differently,” Ciara, who split from fiancé Future in August 2014, said while talking about breakups on air. "I don't wish it on anybody…Women, we go through our healing process right away. Men, they take a moment to go and fight away the feeling…[But] I'm moving at my timing that works for me."
And, as previously reported by Us Weekly, the songstress has moved right onto Wilson! “All I can say to you is he really is an awesome person,” Ciara, trying to remain coy but grinning from ear to ear, gushed when asked about her new boyfriend.
“Everything in life is about timing,” she added.“I’ve been able to have my experiences and learn from them and kind of figure out the thing that works for me and is best for me and that’s all I can really say,” she explained, without going into detail about her new relationship.
Wilson and Ciara, who shares son Future Jr. with her ex, made their first public appearance as a couple at the White House State Dinner in Washington, D.C., last week.
Prior to posing for a seriously picture-perfect snap at the event, the pair were spotted taking in a Seattle Mariners baseball game last month.
