If you love what you do, it's not really work!
That seems like the case for Debra Messing, who costars with new beau Will Chase on the NBC show Smash.
The actress, 43, announced exclusively to Us Weekly in December that she and her producer husband of 10 years, Daniel Zelman, had split earlier in the year. She and Chase, 41, started seeing each other romantically in November, a source tells Us.
"The amount of fun I'm having on this show is so ridiculous off the charts already," Messing gushed at the TCA panel for Smash Friday . "The cast is so accomplished, so committed."
"Everyone is so passionate," she said. "We're working really hard, but laughing a lot."
An insider tells Us that Messing "is completely smitten" with Chase, who also plays her romantic interest on screen.
Messing and Zelman, 44, are still living together with their 7-year-old son Roman. The parents told Us in a statement they plan to "gradually transition into a new living situation."
Chase has two tween daughters, Gracie and Daisy, from a previous marriage.
