According to the New York Daily News, the Blended actress officially filed divorce papers in Manhattan Supreme Court on Friday, July 15. The news outlet reports that the documents “suggest that there will be no messy fights between the two” and that the divorce is characterized as “uncontested.”

Barrymore, 41, and Kopelman, 39, first started dating in February 2011 after years of friendship. They married in a romantic ceremony at her Montecito, California, estate in June 2012 and are parents of daughters Olive, 3, and Frankie, 2.

The Golden Globe winner was previously married to Welsh bar owner Jeremy Thomas in March 1994 (the pair separated just weeks after tying the knot). She also married comedian Tom Green in July 2001, but he filed for divorce that December.

After Barrymore and Kopelman, an art consultant, announced their split in April, they released a joint statement to Us Weekly, saying, “Sadly our family is separating legally, although we do not feel this takes away from us being a family. Divorce might make one feel like a failure, but eventually you start to find grace in the idea that life goes on. Our children are our universe and we look forward to living the rest of our lives with them as the first priority.”
