Drew Barrymore accepted beau Will Kopelman's marriage proposal one month ago, but as the actress explains, she's not up to her nose in wedding magazines or scheduling marathon wedding dress shopping sessions -- yet.

"We're trying to figure it out," the Big Miracle star, 36, told Robin Roberts of wedding planning during a Wednesday appearance on Good Morning America. "I think everyone expects you to kind of know right away what the plans are."

Confirming her engagement in early January, Barrymore says her pals' frenetic excitement makes her worry she might be behind schedule when it comes to planning.

"I'm like, oh goodness, it just happened a month ago! Do I not have it together or is it ok to keep daydreaming?" she told Roberts.

When Roberts told the actress -- who began dating art consultant Kopelman in 2010 -- it was OK to continue to dream, Barrymore said she's content basking in the "positivity" that comes with a proposal.

"I root for his happiness and people's happiness and this is a really positive story and positive time and I like positivity, I'm drawn to it!" she said.
