The stuff dreams are made of! Eva Longoria got engaged to longtime boyfriend Jose Antonio Baston this past weekend, she revealed in a post to Instagram on Sunday, Dec. 13.
The Desperate Housewives alum shared a stunning photo from Dubai, where she and Baston, 46, are currently traveling for the Global Gift Foundation. In it, the actress, 40, enthusiastically kisses her new fiance against the setting of a golden desert and several patterned pillows and rugs.
“Ummmm so this happened,” she captioned the shot, adding the hashtags “Engaged,” “Dubai,” and “Happiness.”
Longoria and Baston first stepped out as a couple in November 2013, at the Museo Jumex Opening dinner in Mexico City.
“They have been seeing each other for a few weeks,” a source told Us at the time. “He’s super sweet to her and a complete gentleman.”
Baston is the president of Televisa, Latin America’s largest media company, and the world’s largest Spanish-speaking media conglomerate.
In April 2014, the Devious Maids actress sat down with Ellen DeGeneres to reveal that she was “very happy” with their relationship.
“He’s a good dresser,” she said of her beau. “I always have to step it up. It’s exhausting.”
Longoria was previously linked to Ready for Love contestant Ernesto Arguello, and was married to NBA player Tony Parker for three years until a cheating scandal rocked their relationship, and the actress pulled the plug on their marriage in 2010.
