Gwyneth Paltrow, cover your ears! Ashlee Simpson’s husband Evan Ross is apparently not a fan of the Goop founder’s daughter’s name, because during an interview with Wendy Williams, Ross admitted he won’t be naming his soon-to-be daughter after a fruit.
“We got a few ideas but we’re keeping that for us,” Ross said during an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show on Thursday, Feb. 19. “It’s not going to be Apple or Orange or anything like that,” he added. “It’s going to be different though.”
And while not-Apple will be the first child for Ross, who said “I do” to Jessica Simpson’s younger sister this past August, he’s gotten the hang of fatherhood through parenting Bronx, Ashlee Simpson’s 5-year-old son with ex Pete Wentz.
“It’s amazing. I can’t even tell you how incredible that child is,” Diana Ross’ son gushed to Williams. “He’s been a blessing in my life and I’ve learned so much from him,” Evan added. “He’s my friend, we became like homies. He was so excited we got married. He was at the wedding, I was like ‘This is just as much your wedding as ours!’”
