'Twas a Christmas Eve engagement! Pregnant again reality star Evelyn Lozada got engaged to baseball player Carl Crawford -- and, on Christmas Day, revealed the huge engagement ring with which he proposed.
"YES! Thank u so much @jasonofbh for this BEAUTIFUL DESIGN!!!! #HappiestGirlInTheWorld" the Basketball Wives star, 37, gushed in the caption, along with a picture of the diamond sparkler designed by Jason of Beverly Hills; the sparkler features a 10-carat emerald cut center diamond. With 14.5 carats total, it's valued at $1.4 million. "Carl was determined to get the ring of Evelyn's dreams," Jason Arasheben, CEO of Jason of Beverly Hills, tells Us Weekly. "We arranged for white glove delivery to Carls home in Arizona the day before Christmas. He wanted an over the top ring that would light up both the Christmas tree and his future bride to be. "
The happy news of their future marriage follows the pregnant TV star's announcement in early December that the Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder, 32, is the father of her second baby.
Foreshadowing the happy holiday engagement, Lozada told OMG! Insider in the same interview, “I definitely would get married again." She added, "I'm not one of those people that's like ‘we need to get engaged, we need to get married.’ No, absolutely not. I feel like that's going to come, just like with the baby, let it come. I'm not forcing anything, so if it happens, it happens.”
Lozada also has a 20-year-old daughter named Shaniece from a previous relationship. The due date of her child with Crawford is in late March.
The reality star was famously married to Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson for about one month in 2012. They split after the former NFL player was arrested on a domestic violence charge. The two finalized their divorce in September 2012.
