Welp, looks like he doesn’t DVR Keeping Up With the Kardashians! Florida news co-anchor John Brown tried to cut out of work early during a live broadcast of Good Day Orlando on Friday, Aug. 7. After discussing Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux’s recent nuptials, Brown walked off set before his co-worker Amy Kaufeldt could gab about the Kardashian-Jenner clan.
“I’m having a good Friday so I refuse to talk about the Kardashians today. You are on your own, Amy,” he said, noticing on the teleprompter that a Kardashian story was next. “I’ve had enough Kardashians! I’ve had enough Kardashians on this show!”
Brown eventually rejoined Kaufeldt on the couch, but was not amused when the subject of Kylie Jenner’s new bunny came up. Jenner, who turned 18 on Monday, named her furry pal Bruce, after Caitlyn Jenner.
“I don’t care! I’m sick of this family! It’s a non-story!” Brown said. “We are talking about this family every freaking day on this show. Nobody cares about this family anymore! I’ve had enough! I want to have a good Friday, I don’t want to talk about the Kardashians anymore.”
Brown cooled off after the segment, even sharing his meltdown on his official Facebook account. “Here is the Kardashian rant,” he wrote on Friday. “Sorry, I lost my mind a bit, although it was partially in jest! I did feel better though after I was done.”
