Gwen Stefani: Relationship with Gavin Rossdale Isn't "the Easiest"

There's No Doubt that Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale seem like a happy Hollywood couple.
But in an interview with Elle UK, as excerpted by PopSugar, Stefani admits her relationship with the Bush frontman hasn't always been picture perfect.

"I've been with Gavin for 14 years, and let's face it, that is a huge accomplishment," she says. The two first met in 1995 on tour, started dating two years later and finally married in 2002. They have two sons together-- Kingston, 4, and Zuma, 2. Rossdale also learned in 2004 of his daughter, Daisy Lowe, now 22, from his brief relationship with singer-turned-designer Pearl Lowe.

"I feel so proud (of our relationship)-- it hasn't been the easiest journey," she admits.
"I wear make-up every single day," the star says. "I like to wear make-up for Gavin and I don't feel energized until I've put it on, then I'm ready to go."
She says her famously fit body is "a daily struggle" and confides, "I work out five days a week. I can't imagine not doing it."

Fourteen years is a huge accomplishment, that's what people should focus on.....not the fact that she likes makeup. Love ya Gwen!
It's refreshing to hear a celebrity admit that her relationship isn't all bunnies and sunshine. Too many celebrities gush about how perfect their relationship is, only to split shortly afterward. Making a committed relationship last is hard work, no matter how famous, wealthy, or attractive the people involved are!
i think she is saying she wears makeup to make herself feel better and it makes her feel better to look good for her husband- good for her and for him
Marriage is hard work thats for sure! It can make you feel and look run-down, so if Gwen wants to put the spakle on, go for it! Im sure Gavin has seen her without nake-up and he is still with her, so what does that say about him?
before my Dad would come home, my Mother would always get Dolled up for him. nothing wrong w/wanted to feel n look great. like today, i want to a restaurant and i could feel all the men staring me.... it feels good! my co-worker was like, you go girl!
She is so superficial. If she needs to wear makeup for her man, then her relationship is kinda based on a lie. A real man won't care what you look like without makeup on.
It's good to take care of yourself, but you shouldn't need the perfect body and makeup to please your man.
maybe you should stop eating so much so you dont have to workout as much?? your metabolism cant be taht slow....I think she has ednos. she is not comfortable without makeup...how sad.shes been with him that long...she should be makeup free when she wants....insecure..trying too hard...14yrs of exercise and makeup....dah keeping a man takes matainence
