Audio: Hear Demi Moore's 911 Call
It's likely one of the most frightening nights of Demi Moore's life.
At 10:45 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23, friends of the star frantically called 911 from her L.A. area home.
In the chilling, just-released audiotape of that 911 call, an unidentified female friend of the star tearfully tells a dispatcher, "We need an ambulance here as soon as possible."
Explains the caller, as several voices are heard in the background: "She smoked something. It's not marijuana…It's similar to incense. She seems to be having convulsions."
As the dispatcher continues to ask questions about Moore's condition, the caller confirms that Moore is "semi-conscious, barely [conscious]" and lying in an adjacent room.

When asked if Moore was breathing normally, the caller (who has moved to the next room to observe Moore) replies, "No, not so normal…[She's] shaking…burning up."
The unidentified woman adds that Moore "has been having some issues lately."

By the end of the call, a male caller gets on the phone and reports that Moore is "much calmer...she's breathing fine. She's leaning up and talking quietly."
Paramedics soon arrived and transported the 49-year-old (reeling from her late 2011 split from Ashton Kutcher) to a local hospital.
"Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health," her rep explained the next day. "She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends."

everyone has rough times in their life at some point, people need to realize that nobody is PERFECT & everyone needs privacy! also she was probaly smoking that hooka? i think thats what its called, but so what!just because shes having problems, they didnt need to have that 911 on for the world! come on, show some compassion!
It's hard to tell exactly what it would be. I have never heard of a reaction like this to Salvia Divinorum. At least not the convulsions part. However since it did subside within the length of the 911 call it is a possibility.It also sounds to me like it could be a reaction to a JWH compound- synthetic cannabinoids used in making 'K2' and 'Spice'. These are labeled as incense (then again so is salvia) so that could cause the confusion. I have seen somebody smoke some JWH and pass out for an hour and have heard plenty of other negative reactions. Whatever it is, I think we can confidently blame marijuana prohibition for it even existing to the public.

There are so many old male codgers with skin hangin all over who marry really pretty women... it makes me sick that there is speculation about Demi and her marriage breaking down because the guy is younger. why is everyone blaming this on the fact that she married a younger man? he is successful and made her happy for quite a while. just because it didn't last doesn't have anything to do with age difference. marriages break up! i married a man 10 months older and it only lasted 2 yrs! and were in out late 30s. jeez ppl. it would suck to have this much attention on you after a breakup, least ppl could do is give her the same privacy we want, or at least some respect and not bash the choices shes making. stay strong Demi and we'll see you on the rebound!

Ok for those of you trying to sell jobs on here you are dispicable stop it !!! as for Demi and that situation, try living your life with an article written about your activities every time you move, cry, take an extra drink, want to sleep or to be left alone. Headlines.... I wouldnt want it.
OK Yeah....I feel for Demi - it's sad to see anyone go through stress so bad in their life that it causes you trama and sometimes people need to go off the dial to release that stress for a little bit but within reason; it's called control. At the very least surround yourself with people that don't loose it if you do so you have the proper support if you're going to put yourself in situations like that. Maybe this is a good wake up call, I know she has it in her to bounce back.

Demi is such a talented actress and has done over a dozen great movies. I truly wish she would eat normally and stop fooling around with Nitrous Oxide. Whip-its are just small hits of Nitrous Oxide N2O.They are not very addictive but can kill you,my company makes Medical N2O and it's a regulated substance.It sounds like she was smoking Potporri that's what the teenagers are smoking instead of pot.And her "friends on the 911 call sound like Idiots. You don't need friends like that. She looked fantastic in Charlies Angels Full throttle and G. I. Jane she needs to start eating and get that same body back.I knew when she and Kutcher got married nothing good was going to come out of it.Please stop being self destructive Demi.
