Heather Locklear is resting comfortably at Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, Calif.

The 50-year-old actress was hospitalized Thursday afternoon after an emergency call was made from her home. According to reports, the Melrose Place star reportedly mixed alcohol and prescription pills, prompting her sister to call 911.

"Once paramedics arrived, they deemed Ms. Locklear needed to be transported and to be seen by medical staff at the hospital," Ventura County Sheriff's Department Captain Mike Aranda explains to Us Weekly.

Aranda added that he didn't know if Locklear's condition "was life-threatening."

I cant believe there would be no parts in Hollywood for her. She's 50 but she's very beautiful. Heather don't let them bring you down. Get yourself together for you, your family and daughters sake. You have too much to live for.

Hollywood is so superficial and I can imagine how difficult it must be for actors once they are no longer in demand and are aging. How sad for Heather, I hope she gets better physically and emotionally.
