Heidi Pratt: I Can't Wait to Renew My Vows With Spencer!
Talk about defying the odds: Spencer and Heidi Pratt have officially been married for an entire year!
How will they celebrate the anniversary of their Nov. 20 Mexican elopement? Not together.
"My spirit will be with my wife, but my body will be ringside at my business partner's [boxing match]," Spencer, 25, told Jimmy Kimmel during an appearance on his late night talk show Thursday.

That's OK with Heidi, who has plans of her own.
"I'll take his credit card, be in Beverly Hills shopping, and never look back," she quips. "And I have three puppies, so I'll take them. I like cooking more for them anyway."
The reality stars -- who released a new book, How To Be Famous, this week -- shocked fans and their families when they eloped to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to swap vows in a secret 2008 ceremony.

Their second wedding, held April 25 in Pasadena, Calif., was filmed for the fifth season of The Hills.
"We got robbed at our second wedding. We lost all the good energy of our first by having LC in the building," Spencer says of his wife's former best friend Lauren Conrad.

Heidi can't wait to walk down the aisle again when the couple renews their vows.
When asked by Kimmel if a third wedding ceremony is really necessary, she confirmed she'd be down for five or six.
"I want the dresses," she joked.

43Hedi was a different person before she met Spencer and has changed tremendously. Lauren and Hedi used to be best friends before Spencer came along. Hedi, wake up, do u not see what Spencer was trying to do to Lauren and your friendship and he got his wish. One of the main reasons I watched the show is because of Hedi's and Lauren's friendship.

Gossipgirl16: interesting comment about "who renews their vows after 2 years," but my parents were married for 22 years, and renewed their vows every single year--seriously. Heck, they even did it one year after my mother had had a heart attack. The minister came to the house and my parents renewed their vows with my mother laying on the couch--but she still said them!
Please someone ban them from having children... Otherwise the kid will need a good shrink from day one...

How was their marriage in Mexico NOT legal? People renew their vows for many reasons. Sometimes they choose to do so after having many problems and seperating only to work things out.

GO AWAY LOSERS! These two dimwits are clueless as to what a real marraige is. Marriage is not about dresses, flowers, pictures and rings. Renewing your vows is not for losers who have been married less than one year. Renewal of vows should take place after twenty years...no less. These two make me sick. I wish our country had a draft. I would love to see Spencer get drafted into the army and sent to Iraq and then step on a landmine.
The book should have been titled, How to Be Obnoxious. I say trouble in paradise if they are already renewing their vows. That might be a lovely thing at 20-25 years. I wish then the best but doubt it lasts much longer that 4-5.
For heaven's sake...I've been married 27 years and we've never renewed our vows. These two have been married like, 30 seconds! Why do celebrities feel the need to keep renewing their vows every year, anyway? So they don't forget they're married?

Selfish! Heidi wants the wedding strictly for the dress, not because she is in love with Spencer and for Spencer to say the vibe was ruined by Lauren Conrad at the wedding is just mean. He was the one who called her and told her how much it would mean to Heidi to have her there. I don't wish anything bad on anyone but these two seriously need to get a grip on life and grow up! Your anniversay is in April guys, not november! The wedding in mexico wasn't legal!
Heidi was so much more attractive before all the surgery, now she is just a spoiled materialistic brat. Shame she let Spencer talk her into trying to be a barbie doll. Key word there is "trying", and not very successfully.
