Hello Helena! Supermodel Helena Christensen flaunted her incredible physique in a dark blue bandeau bikini with white floral appliques while frolicking on Miami Beach on Tuesday, Nov. 5.

The former Victoria's Secret Angel-turned-fashion photographer went to work and snapped some iPhone photos of her niece Sarah Sophie Sonne. Christensen, 44, looked healthy, confident and toned in her rocking bikini bod; Still, back in 2011, she admitted to The Telegraph, "It's really intimidating to go on the beach in a bikini." (As it happens the part-Peruvian, part-Danish stunner first became a household name when she wore bikini bottoms, and nothing else in Chris Isaak's sexy "Wicked Game" video in 1991.

The model and mom to son Mingus, 12, (whom she shares with ex-husband Norman Reedus of Walking Dead fame) offered up some suggestions to being "bikini-ready" in the same interview. While laughing at the term, she suggested: "Get a bathing suit you feel comfortable in. Try to eat a little less of the stuff you know will make you look less firm and don't' start two days before you go."

When Christensen is not spending her days looking amazing in the surf, the bronzed beauty, who co-founded Nylon magazine, works as a photographer and is the creative director and face of Helena Christensen for Triumph, her 1940s-inspired boudoir lingerie collection. She also advocates for fellow celebrities subject to body criticism. (In March, Christensen penned an open letter defending Kim Kardashian, who was pregnant at the time, calling the criticism over the reality star's weight, "disgusting" and "despicable.")

"This collection has been a real passion project for me and I’m very excited that it’s going to be available in the U.S.," she told WWD. "I would like for women to feel both comfortable and inspired as they wear the lingerie pieces."
