He’s just James, y’all! Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton’s younger brother, 27-year-old entrepreneur James Middleton, admitted to digital magazine TYD that yes, it gets annoying when all anyone asks you about is your sister, who just happens to be married to his royal highness Prince William.

"Yes, it does get frustrating,” Middleton admitted. “I work incredibly hard — just like every other person in business and work and aside from the fact that yes, I am the brother of someone very important, I am, at the end of the day, just James."

Middleton, who started working at age ten and suffers from dyslexia, dropped out of the University of Edinburgh after just one year.

"Firstly, I was not confident in the pursuit of me getting my degree and secondly, I already knew that I wanted to work for myself and have my own business,” explained the youngest child of Carole and Michael Middleton (scene-stealer Pippa is the middle child at age 31). “I have only ever employed myself.”

The Duchess of Cambridge’s self-sufficient brother told TYD he “used the stepping stones within the family business,” Party Pieces, to kick start his first venture, The Cake Kit Company. Middleton then co-founded Boomf, a site which allows Instagram users to put their pictures on marshmallows.

There are perks, though, when it comes to being Kate’s brother — like adorable 18-month-old Prince George.

“I still see Prince George as my nephew and I just want to be the best uncle possible,” the businessman told Good Morning America this past November. “Like any uncle wants to be, I want to be the cool uncle. The fun uncle,” he said. “That’s what sort of I’ll always try and be.”
