"On Sunday, Oct. 25th, Jason Mraz married his girlfriend of 4 years, Christina Carano, in a ceremony led by Terces Engelhart of Cafe Gratitude," a rep for the singer told Us. "The couple chose to be a stand for love, as witnessed by a small gathering of close family and friends. No pictures yet, except the one posted by Mraz on Instagram, with the caption, 'Today I was made the luckiest man in the world.'"

In a recent interview with The Osider magazine, the couple revealed that they met through mutual friends back in 2007 at the coffee shop Carano previously owned in Hermosa Beach, Calif.

“The first few years of getting to know him, I was mostly an observer of his life,” Carano said in the interview. “I’d get invited to his concerts and small gatherings at his house here in Oceanside where I’d think, ‘Of all the places he could be, he chose to live in nature amongst the avocado trees.’ I also loved that he didn’t have a TV or microwave and that he was passionate about taking care of his health and our planet and how he chooses to live a life of service on and off the stage.”

The former barista added that it took several years for the stars to “finally align” (the pair started dating in 2011), but “now he’s [her] stud.”

Mraz said he was similarly smitten by Carano when they first met.

“I felt an instant connection to her and have admired her integrity and practices since day one,” he told the magazine. “She is whole-hearted in every action, is extremely generous, completely drama-free, and has the most intuitive-genius-mind in the kitchen. Not to mention her smile absolutely melts me.”

The “I Won’t Give Up” singer was previously engaged to fellow singer-songwriter Tristan Prettyman in December 2010, though they called off their engagement just six months later.
