Jeff Pollack has died at the age of 54. The Hollywood producer and director was found dead on a running trail in Hermosa Beach, Calif., on Monday, Dec. 23.

The Manhattan Beach Patch reports that a woman found Pollack's body in the area known as Greenbelt. Hermosa Bach police captain Tommy Thompson told that foul play is not suspected.

Pollack is best known for teaming up with Benny Medina to form the production company Medina/Pollack Entertainment, which later became Handprint Entertainment. He went on to produce and write for The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air from 1990 to 1996, which was inspired by Medina's own life.

Pollack also directed the 1997 film Booty Call, Above the Rim (1994) and Lost & Found (1999). He also produced the documentary Jennifer Lopez in Concert in 2001 and The Tyra Banks Show in 2005. He was known for being an avid runner and graduated from University of Southern California Film School in the early 1980s.
