The weather outside may be frightful, but Jennie Garth's new romance with rocker Jeremy Salken looks just delightful! The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, 40, was all smiles on Jan. 20 as she and her boyfriend of four months, 31, braved the snow in Toronto, Canada, where Garth is filming the movie Home Again with Cameron Mathison.
The actress, who split from Twilight actor Peter Facinelli in March 2012 after 11 years of marriage, bundled up for the cold in black pants tucked into black boots, a black quilted coat, a bright yellow scarf, and a green knit cap. She cradled a container of coconut water -- her weight-loss must-have! -- in one gloved hand, while the other held tight to Salken, who kept warm in a black hooded jacket, black jeans, and a charcoal-colored scarf.
As the new issue of Us Weekly reveals, Garth and her indie-musician beau have been dating since meeting at Austin City Limits Music Festival in October. (Salken's electronica duo, Big Gigantic, performed at the three-day event.)
"He's very easygoing and chill," a source told Us of the Colorado-based drummer. "They're smitten."
Salken is the star's first serious relationship since the breakup of her marriage to Facinelli, with whom she shares daughters Luca, 15, Lola, 10, and Fiona, 6. Prior to meeting the rocker last fall, she was linked briefly to HGTV star Antonio Ballatore, photographer Noah Abrams, and Jason Clark, a managing director at Jones Lang LaSalle in Los Angeles.
"I'm learning to date again," she told Health magazine recently of her newly active love life. "Looks aren't important to me anymore. I like positive energy."
Facinelli, for his part, has moved on, too. He's currently dating his Nurse Jackie co-star Jaimie Alexander.
