She's got the power!

When Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel reconciled in July after a five-month split, friends assumed this time they'd marry. (The couple have been dating on and of for nearly five years.)

And a source tells Us Weekly it'll be Biel, 29, who decides: "Justin thinks marriage would hurt his career, but if Jessica threatened to leave, he'd do it," the source says of the In Time actor, 30.

The pal adds that New Year's Eve actress Biel (who took Timberlake back after he cheated) now "has the power" in the relationship.

Really? This might just be part of the reason why there is such a high divorce rate in this country. It is never a good idea to pity someone into something they don't want to do. If JT doesn't want to get married, for what ever reason, then that is his prerogative. Given that this information is actually true in the first place. A normal healthy couple would have this conversation in advance and either come to a solution that both are happy with or go their separate ways. Committing your life to another is a huge step and shouldn't be decided on an ultimatum. Unfortunately marriage is not as highly regarded as in the past (ex. Kim and Kris, Britney and Jason, JLO and Chris) but that is the reality of "instant demand, get what we want and when we want it without thinking about the long-term" world we live in today. I love JT and only want the best for him but if in fact this story is true, then I can only wish him the best of luck.

Are we talking about the same Justin Timberlake who's constantly linked to other starlets and random women he meets in clubs? Justin Timberlake who dumps Jessica Biel whenever he feels like it because he knows the clinger will be there waiting when he's tired of running around? Yeah OK.

I think Justin's mom is making decision for Justin which are reallt none of her business. I love both of them and they are a perfect couple. I fell that if they were to marry Justin has to leave his mother out of the picture for good. If thery rreally love each other that's all that counts. Good Luck Justin & Jessica I hope sll is well in your relationship. I hope you get married and beautiful children you deserver it,.

I think it's pretty stupid of him to think that if he got married to Jessica or anyone for that matter that it would hurt his career. What year is in? The 50's? 60"'s? Where it was taboo for a "idol" to get married. Elvis got married didn't stop his career-not that I'm in anyway saying he's Elvis I'm just using that as an example. I think he's being a jerk-if you love her marry her if you want & don't worry if you lose a couple of teenagers because of it. You have devoted fans who will still love you if you are married or not. But that's just my opinion.
