The world isn't willing to put Jon Hamm's reality star slam from his ELLE UK interview to rest just yet.
So inevitably, when the Mad Men actor sat with his AMC co-stars on Monday's Today show, host Matt Lauer wanted to rehash the star's interview, where he slammed both Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton.

"I don't think they were careless; I think they were accurate," Hamm, 41, explained to Lauer, who brought up Kardashian's rebuttal where she called the actor's quote "careless."
Hamm continued, "It's a part of our culture that I certainly don't identify with, and I don't really understand the appeal of it other than in a sort of car crash sensibility, and it's not something that I partake in or enjoy, but it is what it is, and here we are."
The Mad Men star first got into hot water when he made a sweeping statement about reality TV, but brought in the names of both Hilton and Kardashian for reference.
"Whether it's Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated," Hamm said in his April ELLE UK interview. "Being a f-cking idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture because you're rewarded significantly."
