Daddy's day out! Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been MIA ever since welcoming daughter North into the world on June 15, but on Thursday, June 27, both parents took their first steps back into public life — Kardashian on Twitter, West on an outing with his baby's grandmother Kris Jenner in L.A.
Wearing black pants, a black T-shirt, a black hoodie, and bright-red shoes, the 36-year-old rapper kept to himself as he walked, with Jenner trailing just a couple of steps behind him. It was the first time he had been seen in public since Kardashian gave birth five weeks ahead of schedule earlier this month. (See more photos of Kanye and Kris.)
As Us Weekly previously reported, the couple brought their newborn bundle of joy home from the hospital on June 21 and have been busy settling in to their new life. "They are both so in love with their little girl," a source told Us of the proud new parents.
"She's tiny and perfect," another insider said, noting that the baby "looks just like Kim."
Earlier on Thursday, West's famous girlfriend made her own tentative re-entry back into society via Twitter. In her first posts since before Nori's birth, the 32-year-old reality star shared two photo collages of herself and her sisters, along with a message for younger sister Khloe, who was celebrating her 29th birthday.
"The birthday girl! I love you so much!" the new mom captioned the first shot. "The most loyal & supportive person on the planet!" she wrote alongside the second. "Life wouldn't be the same…"
