Kelly Osbourne Tells Lady Gaga to “Eat My S***” After Singer Sends Birthday Cake

Kelly Osbourne and Lady Gaga
"I live for a #Cause not for the #Applause!!!!!!!" Kelly Osbourne, left, said to Lady Gaga on Sunday.

Trick or Tweet? It looks like Kelly Osbourne does not want a slice of Lady Gaga‘s cake. The stylish E! staple is simply fuming after the “Applause” singer presented her with a sweet peace offering– received indirectly through the birthday girl’s also-famous mom.

Gaga, 27, made an appearance Sunday, Oct. 27 on The X Factor UK, where she presented judge Sharon Osbourne with a cake to celebrate daughter Kelly’s 29th birthday, which falls on that same day. The gesture, however, was sorely received. “Not to be ungrateful but why would you send me a birthday cake via my MOTHER in a country half the [world] away? #JustSendItToME #LoveNotWar,” Kelly retorted on Twitter to her 3 million plus followers. Osbourne then posted a photo of the cake to her Instagram with the hashtags #EatMySh-t #Hypocrisy.”

Gaga, in response to Kelly, tweeted her directly, “I didn’t know it was your B-day until this afternoon. Meant as a peace offering. Happy Birthday.” With it, the “Do What You Want” crooner attached an image of her holding the offending confection with Kelly’s mum, 61. Kelly’s scatological response then sparked Gaga’s monsters to unleash their fury on the birthday girl, which lead the artist to plead, “Monsters, please just focus on the positive of tonight’s performance and do not send any hateful messages. I don’t support it. #SpreadLove.”

Minutes later, Kelly sniped, “#StefaniStopIt!” and “I live for a #Cause not for the #Applause!!!!!!!” (Gaga’s name is Stefani Germanotta.)

This is not Lady Gaga and Kelly Osbourne’s first public spat. Their ongoing feud actually dates back to 2009 to when Osbourne called Gaga a “butterface.” The comment moved Gaga’s fans to respond with some vile suggestions for the television host. “They’ve said I should kill myself, that they hoped I get raped. I mean it’s crazy but I’ve had this all my life and I just try and ignore it,” said Osbourne to British publication, Fabulous, in its January issue on Gaga’s monsters commenting on her weight and image.

In January, the singer penned an open letter directed at the daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne for Kelly’s role as a critic on E!’s Fashion Police. “I have empathy for you Kelly, but I feel it culturally important to note that you have chosen a less compassionate path,” wrote Gaga. “Your work on E! with the Fashion Police is rooted in criticism, judgment, and rating people’s beauty against one another.” Gaga’s public penmanship, however, was ill-received by mama Osbourne, who slammed the singer in her own open letter via Facebook, accusing Gaga of bullying her daughter.

“You know it would have been much more dignified of you to do this privately,” she chided the singer. “I am calling you a bully because you have 32 million followers hanging on your every word and you are criticizing Kelly in your open letter.” The Talk host later went on to discuss the row on the CBS show saying that Gaga had set a poor example.

While the two clearly made amends Sunday night, Kelly is unwavering in her opinion telling Cosmopolitan in July 2013, “I loved Lady Gaga. I totally believed in everything she stood for, until I realized she’s a great big hypocrite.” She added, “Don’t say, ‘When you see bullying, intervene,’ while letting your fans send me death threats. If my fans did that, I would not stand for it.”

Her final words on Sunday night? “I like desert, but I prefer the truth… it’s sweeter,” wrote Osbourne, then using the French Revolution as part of her final jab: “‘Let them eat cake’ #MarieAntoinette.”
