Kelly Ripa is spinning for a cause!

The co-host of Live with Kelly and Michael attended SoulCycle's Soul Relief Rides on Sunday, Nov. 11 in NYC to help raise for the Mayor's Fund after Hurricane Sandy.

"The Sandy Relief fundraiser was important to me because two weeks later there are people in Staten Island, Far Rockaway, and Long Beach, NY who still do not have power, water, and basic essentials," she told Us Weekly in a statement.

Ripa, 42, added, "I love to exercise, therefore, if my workout benefits the Mayor's Fund it's a win-win!"

Along with actress Brooke Shields, Ripa, 42, went makeup-free and smiled for photographers during the charitable class. "My face was red like a cherry tomato. I looked nuts!" Ripa said Monday on her show of the workout. "I looked over at Brooke, and Brooke looked like she was at a Calvin Klein photo shoot!"

The fundraiser managed to raise over $100,000 in just 45 minutes.
