Distraught Kim Kardashian Bails on Rest of Australia Trip

Kim Kardashian is cutting short her time in Australia -- nixing planned promotional engagements through the weekend in Melbourne and elsewhere. Various Australian news outlets confirm that the reality star, 31, is flying home to the U.S. with sister Khloe on Thursday or Friday; she had forged ahead with the big trip despite filing for divorce from husband Kris Humphries on Monday.

One of Kardashian's canceled gigs include an appearance at the Melbourne Cup Carnival for Swisse vitamins marquee on Saturday, for which she was reportedly to be paid $150,000. Last-minute, reps attempted to cajole Khloe to attend in her distraught sister's behalf, but she refused.
"I am very disappointed that I am unable to attend the Swisse marquee but I hope to come back and work with the Swisse team at another point in time," Kim said.

A crestfallen spokesman for Swisse vitamins added: "All indications were that Kim wanted to fulfill all of her commitments once she landed in Australia but has obviously changed her mind given her very difficult personal challenges at the moment," the spokesman said.
Somber throughout her appearances Down Under, the divorcee-to-be initially said she was determined to honor her Australian commitments, marital disasters be damned.

"I love our fan base out here. Of course I do really want some time to myself and it has been tough," she said of Humphries, 26, to whom she had been married for 72 days. "But I didn't wanna bail on everyone and, you know, skip out on this commitment."

Distraught! She is just tired of explaining herself over and over. That's what happens when you are in the public eye. You get paid enough for it. She unloaded Humphries so he didn't spend anymore of her money. When you marry you are supposed to become 1 but I guess for this clan it's take,take,take. I used to like this family until I read Kris Jenner saying they are the most famous family in the world and RULES don't apply to them. Quit talking about her and the whole clan, let them dissolve in the background for awhile. I'm sick of reading and seeing them everywhere I go.
@suzanneblakeney not married are you? It takes work and you know there is this thing about caring about someone's feelings. What she did was so patently wrong on so many levels. I think it's important that each so-called fan be reminded that Kim wasn't the only one married and her feelings are only as important as Kris's feelings. You Kim fans are so into it all being about her. she is a troll...inconsiderate at her core.

Oh for God's sake...you people need to take a pill. A marriage fell apart. We don't know why. We aren't privy to what went on in their marriage. The family put their lives on TV. They are making money. Big deal. If you don't like it, don't watch. Quit being jealous, and quit taking it all so freakin' seriously.

@Suzanne you don't bail because your world isn't orbiting perfectly, you work it out. That's what marriage is - work and compromise, two words I don't think Miss Kim has ever really utilized in her vocabulary because I mean getting your picture taken isn't exactly work and compromise means somebody other than her is getting their way.
