She’s got better things to do! Kim Kardashian decided to try her hand at a new musical hobby instead of attending the Academy Awards or any Oscar afterparties, as she usually does.
“Just finished my piano lesson in time to watch the Oscars’ red carpet!!!” Kardashian, 34, tweeted on Sunday, Feb. 22.
North West’s mom also had a special treat in mind for her husband Kanye West. “I’m going to surprise Kanye by learning one of his songs!” she gushed to her 29 million followers. “He’s hardly on social media so he won’t know I’m tweeting this lol.”
When asked by a Twitter user if she’ll be making an appearance, she responded: “I have no one to watch North so we’re watching together in our pj’s! Next year for sure!”
The reality star may have relaxed at home, but another Kardashian got dolled up to mingle with the A-listers. “Love watching @khloekardashian talking fashion on E’s red carpet footage!” Kardashian tweeted about her younger sister, who gave some (iffy!) fashion commentary during E!’s preshow. “KoKo looks so pretty!!!!”
She also complimented Focus bombshell Margot Robbie, who debuted a new blunt bob at the event. “Margot Robbie looks so gorge!” Kardashian wrote. “She’s my fave so far!!! #Oscars.”
Kim and Khloe recently returned from a family skiing trip in Montana. As previously reported, the women, North, and half-sister Kylie Jenner got into a minor car accident on Saturday, Feb. 21. Khloe was behind the wheel when she hit black ice and the group ended up in a ditch.
“They’re shaken,” a source told Us at the time, “but all okay.”
