Kristin Chenoweth is single once more. The Broadway veteran and TV star, 46, has split from her boyfriend of less than a year, producer Dana Brunetti, Us Weekly can exclusively confirm.
Brunetti, 41, is an Oscar-nominated producer who has worked on 2010's The Social Network, 2013's Captain Phillips, and the hit Netflix series House of Cards. He's also a producer on the highly anticipated film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey, which will hit theaters in February 2015.
A source close to the former couple tells Us Weekly, "It was just the distance. Dana's career is jetting off right now, and Kristin travelled a lot already, and they just barely had time to see each other. He's producing House Of Cards now, speaking at conferences, and has to see his kid as well. Just didn't make sense for either party to continue."
The couple made their first public appearance together in January at the Golden Globes, when Chenoweth came as Brunetti's date. They were last spotted out in April, when they attended the Museum of Moving Image's event honoring House of Cards star Kevin Spacey. A source tells Us that Brunetti has moved on to actress Katie Cassidy.
Chenoweth didn't appear to be upset by the split during her appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman on Friday, Nov. 14. Joking about her album release, the recording artist exclaimed, "And dammit if Kim Kardashian didn't ruin my day today! My butt is the size of her bra strap!" referencing the reality star's now-infamous nude Paper magazine cover.
