Lady Gaga is known for her over-the-top, out-of-this world looks, but on Wednesday, Aug. 6, she took it to the next level, by posting a close-up selfie wearing an oxygen mask via Instagram

“Altitude Sickness is no Joke! #hitThatHospitalShit #artRaveDenver many true ravers crowd tonight,” she captioned the photo of her glam take on an inpatient look — oxygen mask with full lashes and all.

According to WebMD, severe altitude sickness can cause headaches, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, weakness, and interrupted sleep. It occurs when certain people reach an altitude of more than 8000 feet and cannot get enough oxygen from the air. 

The “Applause” singer, 28, is currently on her artRAVE Tour, performing in Denver, Colorado on Aug. 6 and wrapping the North American leg of her tour in Seattle, Washington on Friday, Aug. 8. 

artRAVE will then travel overseas to Asia, Australia, the Middle East, and Europe, closing out in Paris, Frace on Nov. 24.
