"Moving Forward," the superstar, 57, captioned the photo. "Nowhere else to go. #rebelheartour."
Madonna, who is currently on her Rebel Heart tour, appears on the verge of tears in the emotional selfie. She stares right into the camera and has no expression on her face.
As previously reported, the Queen of Pop is in the middle of a messy custody battle over her son Rocco. Madonna took the custody battle to a Manhattan court last month after Rocco refused to return to NYC. At the time, the 15-year-old was visiting his British director dad, 47, in London over the holidays and did not return to the States in time for school. The second hearing is in New York on February 3.
"Madonna has been actively doing all she can to get her son Rocco home and back to school in New York," a source told Us earlier this month. "Madonna, who lost her own mother at a very young age, has always made her children’s education a priority along with their well-being."
The insider added that the songstress has been struggling immensely with the messy situation, and "crying constantly."
"This entire thing is 40 percent Rocco and 60 percent Guy," the insider said. "Guy is trying hard to mess with her again."
Madonna and Guy ended their eight-year marriage in 2008, and are parents of David, 10, too. The singer is also mom of daughter Lourdes, 19, with her ex Carlos Leon, and Mercy, 10.
