Extracurricular activities indeed. A 23-year-old man in Illinois accidentally sent naked selfies to a human resources manager who works for a company he was applying for a job with.
According to The Chicago Tribune, the company offered a position to the man, who then sent the female HR employee two naked photos of himself via text. The HR manager then informed the police.
The next day, the applicant followed up with the HR manager regarding his offer and, according to Elmhurst police, the HR manager realized that the man’s phone number was associated with the nude images. Not surprisingly, the company retracted the offer of employment.
According to The Chicago Tribune, after being contacted by police, the applicant explained that the photos were sent by accident.
The likely embarrassed man isn’t alone, however. According to the paper, naked selfies sent in error are becoming an issue. "We're seeing it much more often now with our young people sending inappropriate photos of themselves,” police told The Chicago Tribune. “They're sharing it with someone else and the next thing you know it takes on a life of its own."
