Another holiday cup scandal! The McDonald’s holiday cup went from seasonal to NSFW with just a few strokes of someone's pen and the internet is lovin' it.
The original McCafé cup featured two white mittens along with the saying, “Warmest Greetings,” until a few squiggles changed it into a person spreading their butt cheeks. The cheeky version of the cup quickly went viral on Reddit and social media.
Now how the hell are Starbucks cups in the news again and no one's talking about a guy spreading his cheeks open on McDonald's cups pic.twitter.com/QmIuZiDJst

Once people got a glimpse of the X-rated version, it was hard to unsee it. Soon everyone was changing their mittens into butts.
“When someone draws fingers on McDonald’s mittens and ‘spreading holiday cheer’ takes on entirely new meaning. Good God,” one person tweeted. Another joked that the fast food giant needed to hire some much younger employees: “That is an extremely unfortunate design. Don’t any companies keep a 12-year-old on hand for this?"
Others tweeted that the design made the Starbucks’ holiday cup controversy pale in comparison. "While everyone’s up in arms about Starbucks holiday cups McDonald’s has someone spreading their cheeks on their holiday cups,” one person joked. Another wrote, “If you’re offended by Starbucks holiday cups, check out McDonald’s #mooning.”
