Making a comeback! Mickey Rourke returned to the boxing ring in a big way in Moscow on Friday, Nov. 28. The Wrestler actor won against an opponent 33 years his junior after just two rounds.

Rourke, 62, beat out Pasadena native Elliot Seymour, 29, but not without controversy. During the fight, viewers took to Twitter claiming that some of the actor’s punches were illegal. One of the questionable moves included a final punch to Seymour’s buttocks.

Supporters, however, couldn’t believe how ripped (those abs!) and in shape Rourke is. According to the Associated Press, he lost 35 pounds while training for the competition.

“I’ve got some things going on in my life so that (boxing has) sort of saved me from myself,” Rourke told Russian TV, via AP. “And for a man like me, it’s better to live in fear than go on in shame.”

Rourke’s win was his first fight in 20 years. He previously took a break from acting in the ’90s and has won six matches and two draws in his boxing career.
