Mitt Romney is trying to keep up with the Obamas!

The GOP presidential candidate, 64, compared President Barack Obama to Kim Kardashian in a speech on Sunday.

"I've been looking at some video clips on YouTube of President Obama -- then candidate Obama -- going through Iowa [in 2008] making promises," Romney said, as excerpted by CBS News. "The gap between his promises and his performance is the largest I've seen, well, since the Kardashian wedding and the promise of 'til death do we part." (Kim, 31, filed for divorce from Kris Humphries on Oct. 31 after just 72 days of marriage.)

Obama, 50, probably isn't too thrilled about comparisons to the E! reality star. In October, First Lady Michelle Obama told iVillage that her hubby doesn't like daughter Sasha, 10, and Malia, 13, watching the Kardashians on TV.

But the Kardashians weren't offended by the Presidential snub! A source close to the family told Us Weekly they were "flattered" the Obamas watch their show at all.

I rather deal with Obama than someone who switch issues faster than changing underwears

Actually...Kim kept her promises for 72 days longer than Barack did. If that matters.

This coming from a man who has flip flopped on every issue that he has ever commented on from health care to gay marriage does he think we are stupid and don't have those comments he made.

  • January 03, 2012 - 12:38pm Jennifer Wisdom-Hagler

That makes sense because Mitt Romney has NEVER flip flopped on issues before. Just gay marriage, abortion, health care and all the issues that make him seem like a reasonable Republican.

It's hard to make progress when congress is purposely shutting down everything Obama is trying to do...Everyone blames Obama for bills not being passed. He is the president but he is not the only one that can make decicisions.....have you not heard of checks and balances??? I'm sure some of you who have commented voted for Bush....twice...look where that got us!!!!!

lol coming from the lyingest, flip-floppingest person to ever run for the office, that comment is a bit of a joke.

Obama sucks as a president and I truly believe he ruined it for any other race, including his own, to step up for a long time. It WAS time for a change, but not a change into socialism and martial law. Now, I believe it's going to be a long time before any other race, Black, Mexican, Asian, to take the throne of the US. I think he lied to get in and used his difference to the other presidents to sway votes and I think it's time we change again...by voting him OUT!

Why do we bring up him being a Mormon, what does that have to do with anything? Why aren't we announcing the other candidates religions. Shows your ignorance and not knowing enough about Mitt Romney to make an educated opinion post.

  • January 03, 2012 - 12:02am Robin Kerley

Rebecca, you couldn't be more wrong. He had a career in the Navy and was then a peanut farmer. Goes to show why some people shouldn't be allowed to vote!!

Well, it is a pretty far stretch. . .aside from the fact that Obama is a poster boy. Oh, and that his wife was pimped out on the cover of Vogue numerous times. . .Oh, and let us not forget that he promised things that never happened. But Kim is not a polititian; I guess she is a celebrity??? Go to to youtube right now. Please look up the Operation Blackout via Anonymous. Please let's talk about something real. These Kardashians can suck it.
