The Oscar-winning actress, 32, is currently living in her native Israel until March with her husband and their baby son Aleph, 2, as she works on her directorial debut, A Tale of Love and Darkness. Portman's hubby told the local paper that he had fallen "in love with this country" and becoming Jewish is "very important for me."

Millepied, 36, who is currently in the midst of the conversion process, added to the paper that he is anticipating the process to "come to an end soon and I will become a Jew."

His Israeli-born wife, who moved to the United States at age 3, recently gushed about her family's next relocation after Israel — to Paris! "When Ben asked me if I wanted to go to Paris, I freaked," she told Marie Claire. "Everyone dreams of living in Paris." Millepied — who has been working with his dance company, L.A. Dance Project, since 2012 — will become the new director of the Paris Opera Ballet come September.
