After months of secrecy, Ashley Greene and Reeve Carney went public with their romance at Wednesday night's Rockefeller Center Tree lighting in NYC -- embracing and smooching before a crowd of thousands.

Back in early October, multiple sources confirmed to Us Weekly that the 24-year-old Twilight Saga star was dating the star Broadway's Spider-Man: Turn of the Dark.
Greene "always had a crush on Reeve and he finally was into it," a pal explained to Us.

Carney was most recently linked to Jennifer Damiano, his onstage love interest in the super-costly rock musical.
