Pippa Middleton Lands Cover of U.K.'s Tatler

Pippa Middleton is ready for her close-up!

Duchess Kate's 27-year-old little sis has landed the cover of Tatler magazine's August issue.

Middleton's cover photo -- taken at her sister's April 29 wedding to Prince William -- is shown in black and white surrounded by a colorful ring of flowers. Brandishing the cover line "Pippa: The Bottom Line," Tatler's August issue also features items on "the most popular people in Britain."

Inside the issue, journalist Annabel Rivkin goes on to praise Middleton's tan and trim figure -- among other assets -- which she showed off at the royal wedding in a series of gowns including the form-fitting ivory number seen on the cover.

"Pippa seems almost to have become the whole point of the most recent royal wedding. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are jolly and popular; the consensus seems to be that William has chosen wisely and that Kate is a solid, grounded middle-class soul who will inject some focus into a royal family battered by its own human frailty. But while Kate and William bounce off to Wales, where he can be a helicopter rescue pilot and she can be a housewife, Pippa...has gone global," writes Rivkin.

Indeed, August's cover story is not the only time Middleton has put Tatler on notice. In 2008, they named the party planner the No. 1 Society Singleton.

There is a difference between being a star and Blue Blood fascination. Miss Pippa is very attractive and has a modest quality about her. I am in the USA and I am intrigued if she is dating Prince Harry. I feel that they would make a very nice couple. Just can't imagine 2 sisters marring 2 brothers who happened to be Princes of British Royalty. Sounds to me like there might be several scorned or neglected females in here to make those comments made. Pippa and her sister are both very pretty and Ladylike.

Why are people making this woman a "star." She is average at best.She looked nice at her sister's wedding because she has a good body but so do milions of women.

Maybe in London, Pippa's relevant. In the USA no one gives a rat's ass who she's dating, what she's wearing, etc. US Magazine is only pretends to be fasinated with Pippa because they can't get any Hollywood gossip. Therefore, they recycle pictures of Pippa and write fairytales about her.

Ok her sis is married to prince William, that's all. I'm tired of hearing about her. Let the girl live her life w/o the media blasting her everywhere.

I don't know why the media is trying so hard to make this girl a "star." You either have it or you don't and she doesn't have it. She looked nice at her sister's wedding but that's about it.

It's cool that she's popular in the UK, but I don't get why we see so many news stories of her in the US. She is average looking at best sorry.
