"Red-Eyed" Bobby Brown Leaves Whitney Houston's Funeral with Posse in Tow

Each of the 1,500 invitations to Whitney Houston's funeral in Newark, NJ admits just one, but apparently her ex-husband Bobby Brown did not receive that memo.
According to New Jersey paper The Star Ledger, the R&B singer, 43, arrived outside of the New Hope Baptist Church Saturday afternoon with an entourage of nine people in tow, demanding that they all get seats in the front row.

The paper adds that Brown himself was allowed in, but he opted to leave with the rest of the people not admitted.
"He was allowed to go in, pay his respects and then he had to leave," a witness tells Us Weekly. "He was red-eyed going up to the casket and then left. He was there for 15 minutes."

A source has told Us that there is still underlying tension between Houston's relatives and Brown, who married Houston in 1992. Their divorce was finalized in 2007.
"There are family members who felt Bobby drove Whitney into drugs," one source explained. "But now Bobby is clean and Whitney has unfortunately passed. So there's resentment."

Brown is expected to perform at his scheduled concert, which takes place in Connecticut.

We have definitely loss one of our National Treasures, along with Luther, and Michael, Barry, etc.. Like them, her music will live on forever. My heart is deeply saddened that Whitney is gone, much too soon! She was such a beautiful (inside and out) Christian lady, who was blessed with an exceptionallly awesome voice!!! I had hope that her Christian roots would have kept her more grounded, to sustain and strengthen her, while, blessing her with divine disernment, that would have helped her to navigate through the snares of satan, whether it be substance or the hellhounds, in her life. This is truly a tragedy. It's my prayer that Bobbi Christina is has the courage to stand strong, at this fragile time in her life and that God will show her how to learn from the tragic events of her loss, to strive to make both her Momma and Dad PROUD. All of my friends and I are praying for Bobbi Christina, that she embraces her God and prepare herself for the ravages of predators (inside and out of her family); and protect herself from those she knows only want to use her and bring her down. I pray that she will focus her next five to six years on getting an education in an area of interest, while pursuing voice/dance and/or instrumental coaching. Whitney was my hero, such a talented lady, beautiful lady and you made my heart smile. I love listening to your music. I watched Bodyguard and I have so much sadness for your loss. Your music keeps ringing in my mind. You will be remembered by so many people. You are the greatest. May you be at peace and that you will be Bobbi Christina's angel and give her the strength to live a life full of joy and peace. My heart has been broken ever since I heard of your passing. Whitney was given o the lord just the way she lived",ENTERTAINING" . I think it was a beautful send off.. So Whitney "RIP" and buckle your seat belt, next stop, HOME, where you have no more pain and sorrow. It's smooth sailing from this point on. My sympathy goes out to the family.

Charlie I never said Bobbi Kristina was not Bobby's child..and unfortunately she looks like her Father... When I said wedlock I was referring to his and Whitney's marriage, which you just confirmed that he had 6 of them during his marriage to Whitney if he has 3 before his marriage to Whitney...If he really has 9 kids... Jamie, Kim pls stop the nonsense. Bobby was a star long before Whitney and he still entertains till date.. Bobby had three kids before he married Whitney. Whos talking about wedlock, a child is a child. Bobbi Kristina belongs to him 100%. Take a look at Bobbi kristina and tell me who she resembles? God of all creation tells no lie. The family must come out and condemn the treatment meted out to Bobby and I hope Brown can forgive them for the sake of Whitney.

I have tried to bite my tongue but I am tired of seeing Whitney's family getting trashed for "how they treated Bobby Brown". First of all Bobby would have been nothing without Whitney...He saw his time back in the day and if he would not have married Whitney he would have faded into the background...Second, set aside the drugs and drinking..don't care who did what or who was responsible..the fact that he put his hands on Whitney is unacceptable...It is natural human instinct to protect your loved one and I can understand the Houston family not having a whole lot of respect for him because of that alone...I know the papers say they blame him for her downfall but we only know what the media reports and they do tend to exaggerate. Third, Bobby was Whitney's EX...he had NO say over her arrangements or Funeral unless stipulated in a Will or P.O.A., and my guess it wasn't...so the responsibility fell into the Houston Family's hands..They did not even want to invite Bobby Brown and at the last minute did so out of respect for his Daughter, so it is my opinion he was LUCKY to even get an invite...and for him to show up with all of those extra people regardless if they were his children or entourage (as some media outlets have reported) they needed to be invited or it needed to be arranged with Whitney's family...If they were his children apparently Cissy did not see them as being apart of "Her" family...Last, from what I understand it was the extra people they had a problem with, not Bobby and I have heard mixed reports on what exactly happened..they were refused access period or they were asked to move several times so they left...no matter what the cause was from what I can gather Bobby Brown was never asked to leave..He CHOSE to leave, so to me it is on him..If he was truly there for his Daughter he would have stayed...I think it was his "indirect way" to make it about him..This is my opinion of the situation and I do not blame the Houston family for having "Hard Feelings" regarding Bobby Brown.
