Livin’ la vida sexy! Ricky Martin and his hunky new boyfriend, Jwan Yosef, made their relationship red carpet official at the amFAR Inspiration Gala in Sao Paolo, Brazil, on Friday, April 15.
The “She Bangs” singer, 44, and his handsome beau — who both looked oh-so-dapper in tailored tuxes — had no problem engaging in a tasteful amount of PDA as they posed for photographers. Martin further confirmed his romance with the Syrian-born artist, 32, by Instagramming a photo of the two holding hands at the event. The Latin heartthrob simply captioned the ‘gram: “Yup.”
Yosef also shared a shot from the couple’s first public appearance. “We cleaned up good,” the London resident wrote alongside an equally stunning pic of the pair. “THANK YOU @amfar for an amazing event…”
Prior to solidifying their relationship status in Sao Paolo, Martin and Yosef first ignited dating rumors by periodically sharing snaps of each other on their social media accounts. Most recently, the men were spotted vacationing together in Tokyo in late March and then in Malibu at the beginning of April.
Martin, who came out as gay in 2010, dated Carlos Gonzalez-Abella from 2011 until he split from the stockbroker in 2014. That same year, he was linked to Australian swimmer Ian Thorpe.
In a 2015 interview with PrideSource.com, the former Menudo crooner — who is a single dad of 7-year-old twin sons Matteo and Valentino — revealed that he was ready to find love again.
“To be honest, I love being in a relationship … I love waking up in the morning and, if you’re not with your boyfriend, [sending] that first message or text in the morning: ‘Hey baby, how ya doing? I hope you’re fine. I just woke up. I’m doing this and this and this today.’ I love that,” he explained. “I really do. And I love picking up my phone and waiting for that reply from that text — it’s great … I love being in love.”
