Ryan Gosling and Justin Timberlake had a mini Mickey Mouse Club reunion on Saturday, Dec. 5, at the Saturday Night Live afterparty in New York City. According to an eyewitness, the new dads caught up with one another at Dos Caminos restaurant, chitchatting until the early morning. Gosling hosted the Dec. 5 show and Timberlake is a member of the Five-Timers club.
Gosling’s girlfriend, Eva Mendes, also joined the duo. “Justin and Ryan were laughing, joking, and looked to be catching up,” the partygoer tells Us. “Justin and Ryan were the hit of the party and everyone was loving watching them catch up with each other. Ryan also introduced Eva to Justin, but they already knew each other and hugged hello.”
Timberlake and Gosling both appeared on the revival of The All-New Mickey Mouse Club from 1993 to 1995, alongside famous costars Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. The two are also both new dads. Gosling and Mendes welcomed their daughter, Esmeralda, in September 2014. Timberlake and his wife, Jessica Biel, welcomed their son, Silas, this past April.
Timberlake and Gosling were also roommates during their time on the Disney show. “He’s always been that charismatic and that talented,” Timberlake told Ellen DeGeneres of Gosling. “We actually, funny enough, his mother had to keep her job in Canada the second year that we were on the television show and my mom was his guardian for like six months. So we actually lived together when we were that age. So we were probably a little closer than the rest of the kids that were on the show just because we had to share a bathroom.”
“Justin, Ryan, and Eva were at the party until after 4 a.m. hanging out with friends,” the source added. “The party was a blast! The energy was amazing, it was a great crowd just having a roaring good time.”
