Another reality show couple is headed for the altar!
Shahs of Sunset's Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi is engaged to her boyfriend, Omid Kalantari, the star confirms exclusively to Us Weekly. (She first revealed the news on Sunday, Dec. 9, during Bravo's Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.)
"The proposal was very cute," GG tells Us. "I just recently was on the cover of L.A. Fashion Magazine, and on the cover, I'm wearing a bridal-style gown. [Omid] told me he thought it was a cute dress if we ever thought of getting married and [then asked] me to grab the magazine so he could look at it again."
When she went into the room, she continues, the magazine was sitting upright -- and there was a ring beside it. "I turned around and he was right there," she recalls. "Then he asked the infamous question: 'You wanna do this or what?' I was laughing hysterically." (Kalantari later got on one knee and popped the question "properly.")
Though the couple have yet to even get together on the show, GG tells Us that their romance has been brewing for a long time now -- basically since he moved to L.A. from Texas several years ago.
"Omid and I met through mutual friends...and I immediately fell in love with his personality," she says. "We became friends right off the bat."
Over the years, she continues, they tried to turn that friendship into a relationship, but "it just never seemed to work."
"Omid is very mature for his age, but he's still much younger than me and he was enjoying the party-boy lifestyle," GG explains to Us of her 26-year-old fiance. "But one thing he and I could never deny was our extreme connection and attraction for each other. If you can't tell already, he's smoking hot!"
"He understands me on a very unexplainable level," she adds. "I adore everything about him. He comes from a very good family, and they exude class. I appreciate that Omid sees past my exterior. He loves me for me. He always knows what to say to make me smile. I'm truly looking forward to everything the future holds for us. I will always cherish the man that he is."
