Cloudy with a chance of . . . abs! A shirtless jogger named Ethan Renoe has now gone viral after crashing a weather report in Chicago over the weekend. The insanely hot Internet sensation was caught on camera by WGN-TV while running beside Lake Michigan in the rain.
His hilarious run-in with WGN-TV reporter Tahman Bradley took place late at night on Sunday, December 13. The video was posted on the WGN-TV Facebook page and has already garnered over 1.7 million views.
“Dude, where is your shirt, man?” Bradley asks Renoe on camera. “It’s a great day for a run, [and] it’s too wet for a shirt,” Ethan says. “I love running in the rain, and I’m also single!”
Those interested better act fast, though. Renoe revealed that he’s originally from Colorado, and he’s heading home for the holidays this week.
“It’s really been crazy. I have about 900 friend requests [on Facebook] right now that I have to sort through,” Renoe, sadly fully dressed, told WGN-TV reporters on Monday. “The feedback has been really crazy.” When asked if he’s “looking for love,” he replied: “I am.”
Renoe is ecstatic about his 15 minutes of fame. On Sunday, he returned to Twitter after nearly a year of silence to react to the hoopla. “Hey everyone! Thanks for reaching out after the Shirtless Wonder video!” he wrote to his over 600 followers. “Stay tuned for updates!”
